Greetings, fellow ASL player! Welcome to the Tri-State ASL Club's official website.
I'm glad that you've stopped by, because there are a couple of things that I believe I ought to say to you at this time.
If you're already a member, let me personally thank you for your membership and for your support of TRAC. I hope we're providing you with the services and connections to other ASLers that you need to stay active in the hobby. If we're not, please drop me a line

at bkmartin@niu.edu and let me know what's on your mind. I'll do my best to fix a problem, compliment a fellow member, start a new service.
If you're not already a member, you may be asking what's in it for you. TRAC is unique because, as far as I know, we're the only totally internet-based club in the entire world. What that means for you is that our members are instantly connected to each other. When you need a member, a member is just a modem connection away. When you need assistance, we're just an electron from your game room.
What that also means is that we're a bit more loosely organized than other clubs. We don't have regular meetings. We have club events, but they're mostly announced on our mailing list so folks show up if they live nearby. Since we have no expenses, we also charge no dues or fees. When the club holds a VASL tourney, you just play your matches.
Should membership in TRAC replace any membership you might hold in other ASL club or organization? Absolutely not! I believe that you can gain the benefit of both clubs by belonging to both. You get to expand your playing circle, find new opponents, have a greater number of voices to answer your questions.
I'm hoping that after you look around our website, which will be under some heavy construction over the coming weeks, you'll click on the "Joining TRAC" link and send me the e-mail that activates your membership.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope to hear from you soon, whether it's to join TRAC, or to simply keep in touch.
Sincerely,
Brien Martin
