Military Hierarchy (Very Basic)

When reading articles on ASL, or looking over the scenario cards, it's easy to become confused by all of the terms used to describe military units. Well, it's easy, that is, if you're like I am and have no military background. Or, if you've not read a lot about World War II or military formations (yeah, like me).

Anyway, here's a graphical portrayal of what the military organization looks like in ASL terms. Keep in mind that every nation was organized slightly differently ... but you'll get the idea soon enough.
SQUAD LEVEL (1 squad, approx. 10 men)
PLATOON LEVEL (3 squads, approx. 30 men)
COMPANY LEVEL (9 squads, approx. 90 men)
